Castle Cottage lies between Fowey and Lostwithiel and as the Eden Project is only 10 minutes away it is an ideal holiday location from which to explore Cornwall. A short drive will also take you to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a time capsule of glasshouses, romantic structures and landscapes. Shops and pubs 1½ miles. Ground floor: Living/dining room with beams. Kitchen. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. 1 galleried double (6ft zip and link) bedroom with single futon bed (for alternative sleeping). NSH, elec heaters, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Video. Elec hob. Combi m/wave/oven/grill. Sitting-out area and furniture. Use of 370-acres of woodland, by prior arrangement. BBQ. Parking (2 cars). Natural spring water from borehole. No smoking. |

Lostwithiel (whose name derives from the Cornish 'lostwydhyel', meaning 'tail of a wooded area') is a small town in Cornwall, England. It is located at the head of the River Fowey within a few miles of Lanlivery, Tywardreath, Golant, Lanhydrock, Luxulyan, and Par and is one of over 250 towns and villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest official cities are Truro (population 20,920), Plymouth (population 243,795), and Exeter (which has a population of 106,772 according to the 2001 Census).
