From the doorstep many walks can be taken around the country lanes and over the National Park including Haytor and Yarner Woods. Widecombe-in-the-Moor is a short drive away. Travel over Dartmoor to Princetown, Tavistock or Plymouth or visit the many picturesque villages for a traditional Devon cream tea. The cathedral city of Exeter is nearby and the beaches of the South Hams and Torbay are also a short drive away. Attractions in the area include Babbacombe Model village, Crealy Devon, National Trust properties including Castle Drogo and Killerton House. There are theatres in Torquay and Paignton with shows all year-round and a choice of pubs and restaurants all within a short drive. Leisure facilities: outdoor heated swimming pool, fully fenced and available from 23 May - 30 September. The accommodation retains much of its charm and offers FOUR bedrooms: upstairs 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk room (with full size beds). Downstairs 4'6" double with en-suite electric shower over bath and separate WC. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Downstairs cloakroom. Lounge/study: with wood panelling, parquet floor, TV, DVD and Freeview. Second quiet lounge with woodburner, TV and Freeview. Dining room: with serving hatch through to kitchen. Kitchen: with electric cooker, Aga (available 1 October to 30 April), dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Utility: with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: enclosed lawn gardens with seating area, BBQ and ornamental pond. Amenities: parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Broadband available (no extra charge). Regret no smoking in the property. 1 medium dog by arrangement October - April inclusive. Location: beach 10 miles, pubs, restaurants and shops 1 mile.
