This recently refurbished and extended detached house has far-reaching views over the adjacent golf course to the sea at Praa Sands Bay. Stroll to the half mile long sandy beach at Praa Sands, popular with families and surfers alike, across the golf course which is open to the public. The house is also within walking distance of the beachside bar and restaurant. This fantastic coastal location offers the chance to tour the whole of Cornwall with ease, with a collection of sandy beaches on the south coast, Lizard Peninsula and Lands End Peninsula and easy access to the popular towns of St Ives and Penzance. Other attractions include The Eden Project, Lands End, Flambards Theme Park, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and St Michaels Mount to name but a few. On site, relax in the enclosed garden or enjoy the views over the sea from the large patio or terraces where there is the opportunity to BBQ.
The spacious accommodation with lovely pine floors offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and WC, 1 twin (3' beds) with WC, both on the first floor, 1 double downstairs with french doors opening out onto the terrace and 1 twin downstairs (2'6" beds) with en-suite power shower room with WC. Bathroom: downstairs family size with shower attachment, heated towel rail and WC. Lounge: lovely first floor room with TV, DVD, Freeview and balcony with views extending over the golf course to the sea. Second downstairs quiet room lounge with TV, opening onto patio. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Utility: external with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Outside: relax in the enclosed garden area and enjoy the views over the sea from the large patio or terraces where there is the opportunity to BBQ. Amenities: parking for 3 cars. Bed linen and electric included, £50 heating surcharge for all bookings during Oct - March. Regret no pets. Location: beach, bar and restaurants 0.5 miles in Praa Sands, shop 5 minute walk. Arrival: 4pm

North Cornwall
Wilder and more rugged than the south of the county, North Cornwall is a land of
tall headlands, sandy beaches and empty moorland – yours to explore from one of
our holiday cottages in North Cornwall. The busy resort of Newquay is a major attraction,
with its glorious beaches and fantastic conditions for surfers. Nearby Perranporth
also boasts some fantastic beaches, perfect for sun-lovers. You’ll find many more
lovely beaches, like those at Bude for example, waiting for you on one of our North
Cornwall cottage holidays. This part of Cornwall has become a bit of a mecca for
food lovers too. Rick Stein has put Padstow on the map and more chefs, including
Jamie Oliver, are joining him, attracted by the quality of the ingredients available
locally. Then there is St. Ives, long a haunt of artists drawn here by the wonderful
light and inspiring scenery. A cottage holiday in North Cornwall puts you in touch
with history from ancient celtic times to the days of the smugglers. Tintagel Castle,
rumoured to be the birthplace of King Arthur, sits high on a cliff and still has
a strange air of mystery about it.
South Cornwall
Wonderful scenery, a mild climate, sparkling blue seas and charming seaside villages
make South Cornwall a firm favourite for cottage holidays whatever the season. And
we have a fabulous choice of holiday cottages in South Cornwall from which to make
the most of this lovely part of the country. The Cornish Riviera takes in some of
South Cornwall’s most popular resorts and many of our holiday cottages in South
Cornwall are located nearby. Picturesque Fowey is a haven for sailors, while the
Roseland Peninsula is a noted beauty spot. Mevagissey, St. Mawes and St. Just are
all well worth a visit. Not to be missed is the Eden Project, a fascinating recreation
of different biospheres, featuring a wide variety of exotic plantlife. You should
also make time for a trip to atmospheric St. Michael’s Mount and on to Land’s End,
the most westerly point in England. The county town of Truro has a lovely cathedral
and some excellent shopping opportunities, while Penzance is a bustling resort,
famed for its warm weather and sub-tropical plants. And do make sure you sample
the pasties, saffron cake and clotted cream – all local delicacies, – during your
cottage holiday.
