Description
The village of Beaufort is situated in the picturesque countryside of Mid-Kerry.
Siobhan’s Cottage is a spacious, modern wing adjoining the owner's home that offers accommodation for groups of up to 7 people. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are en suite and there is a substantial, kitchen with a dining area. The patio doors lead to the garden, where you can enjoy a spot of outdoor dining or simply soak up the idyllic views over the "Gap of Dunloe" and the imposing MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. The small village of Beaufort is 2 miles away and there is off-road parking for up to 2 cars.
Accommodation
Full oil fired central heating with additional heating from gas fire in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, video. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden to rear with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles (3 km). |

County Kerry sits in the south west of Ireland, to the north west of County Cork, and facing out towards the Atlantic Ocean. It takes its name from the pre-Gaelic tribe who once lived there. The most westery point in the whole of Ireland, in the Dingle Peninsula, is part of the county, as is the Killarney National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty, which has made Killarney one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland.
Kerry is a very scenic county, with lakes, mountains, and the Atlantic coast, with much to interest the visitor. Walking routes in the county include the Dingle Way, the Beara Way and the Kerry Way, and the area is popular with cyclists too, especially the Ring of Kerry.
