'Burngullow' is a large attractive double glazed bungalow within walking distance of the beach. It holds a VisitEngland Tourist Board 4* rating, sleeps 5, with BT WiFi, and is beautifully appointed and equipped for your comfort and convenience, as you would expect in a "home from home". Dogs with careful owners are welcome by arrangement! There is a small charge for pets. The property lies in a quiet residential location within the village which has a shop/PO for all your daily requirements (5 mins walk), beach side Inn with restaurant, 2 beach cafes, and 2 large car parks for beachgoers and public toilets. The golden sands contrast with the high cliffs and pretty rock pools to give visitors a worthy beach experience - and it's great fun for kids!
Within the property the large spacious lounge is attractively furnished in green and beige, with digital TV, DVD, and CD player. Off the lounge is the bright and roomy dining room separated from a cheerful and well equipped kitchen by a wide breakfast bar, and is furnished in blue and cream. The kitchen contains electric double oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. There is use of a freezer in the garage. The white and chrome bathroom, complete with wash basin and full sized bath with electric shower over, is separate from the toilet.
There are three comfortable, cheerful and well appointed bedrooms - 2 double bedded and one single room. All furnished in creams, greens and blues. Bed linen is provided (duvets), but please bring your own bath towels and kitchen linen. Towel sets can be hired.
'Burngullow' has a charming double glazed conservatory with Cornish rustic slate floor leading out on to a sunny, sheltered and totally enclosed back garden with lawn, mature shrubs, patios and seating. The front garden has off road parking for 3 cars plus a garage. Electricity and heating are included in the price of your holiday.
Crackington is located on Cornwall's exhilarating Atlantic Heritage Coast and lies within an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty '. It offers sandy surfing beaches (Lifeguard patrolled in the summer months), wonderful Gold Standard circular coastal and countryside walks to take in the stunning scenery and spectacular coast at Strangles, and Millook. Further afield the nearby coastal town of Bude offers chic restaurants and cafes, entertainment for the children and fashionable shops. The historic villages of Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac (Doc Martin) and Padstow lay nearby, while a 45 minute drive will take you to the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens and the south coast.

The popular north Cornwall seaside resort of Bude sits at the mouth of the River Neet. Facing the Atlantic Ocean it has two large, sandy, beaches (Summerleaze and Crooklets) which provide for good surfing in the right conditions, as do a number of other beaches nearby, including Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Bay.
The town has a number of shops, tennis courts, pitch and put and other amusements, and there are a number of points of interest including Bude Canal which runs into the harbour area, and once used to connect Bude with Launceston. The railway station which brought visitors from London on the Atlantic Coast Express is now closed, as with the branch line to the town, so transport facilities today are restricted to car and bus access, but the A39 ‘Atlantic Highway’ makes for easy access to and from other parts of Cornwall.
As well as being a great location itself for a family holiday, Bude is also a good base for exploring the north Cornwall coast, and for paying visits to other great Cornish locations such as Boscastle, Tintagel, and Padstow. With good accommodation available both in the town and in the surrounding villages visitors are sure to find somewhere ideal to stay, especially with the range of choice of cottages and holiday lets in Bude which are provided for search and comparison at Go2.
