Description
Thurston House has 7 Apartments - This is a large Victorian house which has been converted into seven individual self-catering apartments. Thurston House is situated in a quiet location yet within a couple of minutes walk of the village centre with its shops, public houses, churches and places to eat.
A few minutes walk away is the lake with boats for hire, the Launch and the steam powered Gondola offer trips on the lake. For walkers Coniston Old Man, Tarn Hows, Grizedale forest and the fells are easily accessible from the village.
Coniston, located in the heart of the Lake District National Park, is an ideal centre for walking, sailing and other outdoor pursuits. Many places of interest are to be found nearby including historic houses and sites, museums, and lovely towns and villages.
This first floor apartment offers 1 double bedroom, shower room, comfortable and spacious lounge with double bed (full size normal bed not fold-up or sofa bed), fully-equipped kitchen/dining room with folding bed.
A third of the cost of the holiday is payable to the owner within one week of booking, the balance is due six weeks before arrival date.

Coniston is a village in the Lake District in Cumbria, England. It is situated near to Coniston Water, the third largest lake in the Lake District, and not far from Outgate, Grasmere, Lake Windermere, and Greenodd and is one of over a hundred towns or villages in Cumbria in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Lancaster (population 45,952), Carlisle (population 71,773), and Liverpool (which has a population of 469,017 according to the 2001 Census).
