Step from the porch into an attractive hallway and through to a light filled dual aspect sitting / dining room, with a lovely period fireplace to enjoy an open fire on cooler evenings. The stylish modern fitted kitchen is well equipped for all your needs and leads out onto the sunny south facing rear garden where stone steps lead up to a fabulous decked area perfect for al fresco meals or just relaxing in the warm summer evenings. Back inside the wide staircase and spacious galleried landing gives access to the stylish bedrooms and family bathroom. For surfers the popular beach at Westward Ho is just five minutes away and the cottage provides an outdoor utility room ideal for storage of wet suits and surfboards. There is so much to see and do in this fabulous area, with easy access to stunning beaches, pretty villages and beautiful Exmoor National Park, not forgetting family attractions such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. The choice is yours, but it is always good to return to the comfort of Apple Tree Cottage at the end of the day |

Appledore is a small fishing village at the mouth of the river Torridge in North Devon and is a popular holiday destination. It's quay runs alongside the estuary which heads out to the open sea, and along the quayside fresh caught fish can be bought directly from the local fishermen. Above the quay the quaint village is comprised of many narrow lanes and cottages. Appledore has become a focal point for local artists, many of whose works may be purchased from the numerous art and craft shops in the village.
