For storage of surfboards, bikes or beach equipment ample space is provided in the garage. A fairly steep downhill stroll brings you to the picturesque quay and quaint village streets of Appledore, where pretty pastel coloured fishermen's cottages line cobbled streets. The wide sandy beach of Westward Ho! known as Golden Bay is just a short drive away, perfect for families with small children or equally popular with avid surfers. With so much to see and do there is something to suit all tastes and ages in this beautiful area, and Tidal View is a wonderful choice for your holiday base. |

Appledore is a small fishing village at the mouth of the river Torridge in North Devon and is a popular holiday destination. It's quay runs alongside the estuary which heads out to the open sea, and along the quayside fresh caught fish can be bought directly from the local fishermen. Above the quay the quaint village is comprised of many narrow lanes and cottages. Appledore has become a focal point for local artists, many of whose works may be purchased from the numerous art and craft shops in the village.
