JUST A SHORT STROLL FROM THE BEACH AND HARBOUR OF WEST BAY Situated in the coastal village of West Bay with the picturesque harbour and beach just a short stroll. This immaculate apartment offers a unique holiday experience. At the epicentre of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast lies West Bay, a wonderful seaside location for family holidays, countryside and coastal walks, fossil hunting, fishing/angling trips, scuba diving, paragliding, golfing and river boating to name but a few. You will also be ideally positioned for touring the whole of Dorset and the many attractions the county has to offer. A childrens play area and a swimming pool with fun slides are available in the caravan park close to the property which is open to the general public. For the older child there is also a small bowling alley and amusement arcades to keep them busy. The accommodation is set on the ground floor with easy access to the front and rear, and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with TV and DVD player and 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: flatscreen TV with DVD player and hi-fi. Kitchen area with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Outside: small seating area at the rear of the property. Amenities: parking for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no pets. Regret no smoking inside the property. Location: pubs, shops and beach all a short walk. Arrival: 3pm.

Bridport in Dorset is a market town situated near the coast where the River Brit flows into the sea. Originally a fishing port and rope-making town, the former harbour, once known as Bridport Harbour, is now known as West Bay and the area is now better known as a tourist location. Indeed West Bay has featured in a number of films and TV series including ‘The Navy Lark’ and ‘Harbour Lights’.
The railway once connected West Bay to the mainline, but as with many local branch-lines the Beeching cuts led to its closure, and the former line now provides an excellent route for cyclists, with the old station at West Bay becoming a fine cafe.
