At Penrhos you are approximately one and a half miles from the nearest beach in the scenic Wyre Valley – just 9 miles south of Aberystwyth. Great for serious golfers and beginners alike, there is a challenging 18 hole golf course with reduced green fees, a 9 hole par 3 or 4 academy course and a driving range.
You will be able to enjoy the use of a splendid leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, gym, steam room, sauna and solarium. There are two comfortable bars and the Penrhos Grill offers an excellent selection of fresh local produce.
Close by are historic towns and quaint harbour villages with shops, pubs and restaurants. The village shop is nearby. Sailing, fishing, horse riding and walking available locally.

Aberystwyth is a market town and seaside resort in Dyfed, Wales. It is situated on the west coast of Wales near to Borth, Capel Bangor, Aberdovey, Llanrhystud, Tywyn, and Aberdyfi and is one of almost 30 towns and villages in Dyfed in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Bangor (population 15,280), Swansea (population 169,880), and Newport (which has a population of 116,143 according to the 2001 Census).
As well as being a university town, Aberystwyth is also a popular tourist destination and boasts a range of attractions including a golf course, two cinemas, the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway at one end of the promenade, the Value of Rheidol steam railway, the Parc Penglais nature reserve and the Ystwyth Trail cycle path, amongst others. As well as its own beach the town is also close to a number of other sandy bays and beaches along the coastline.
