From May to September, visitors enjoy shared use of a covered, heated swimming pool and sauna with the neighbouring owners. Boasting a famous windmill and quintessentially English village green, Meopham also provides a selection of shops, restaurants and pubs serving food (½ mile),with trains to London Victoria (45 minutes). The Medway estuary with historic Chatham dockyards, medieval Rochester Cathedral and Dickens World visitor complex is 15 miles. Ightham Mote, a superb 14th century manor house, the deer park and house at Knole (both N.T.) and Leeds Castle are all in easy reach and magnificent Canterbury Cathedral is 40 miles as is the seaside at Herne Bay. Ebbsfleet station (8 miles) offers train journeys to both London St Pancras International (15 minutes) and central Paris (125 minutes). Cycle hire, golf and riding are 5 miles.
