Description
With so much to do in the local area, this charming property – which has accommodation for up to five people – is well located with a huge range of local amenities at hand.
Situated in the small, unspoilt hamlet of Selside and about two and a half miles from Horton-in-Ribblesdale is this warm and welcoming cottage. This stone-built, semi-detached cottage was once a coaching inn and then a farmhouse and has now been carefully and tastefully refurbished to a high standard. The wood-burning stove and original timbers have been retained to give the property a cosy feel whilst the location, close to Three Peaks walking country, is bound to appeal to those who love the great outdoors.

Full oil central heating, woodburner in sitting room. Electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, colour TV, video, DVD, stereo/CD etc. Fuel, power & initial supply of logs inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off-road car-port parking for 1 car, in shared adjoining paddock. Small paved patio area with garden furniture to side of house, overlooking stream. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pubs, cafe in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, 2.5 miles. Note: This property has a private water supply. Note: This property is located on the Horton to Ribblehead (B) road. The front door to the property is located on this road but can also be accessed via a side door. |

This is an excellent cottage, in a superb location, the little hamlet of Selside. You can walk either east or west from the cottage itself on numerous walks, and there is excellent access to the North or South Dales.
What a beautiful old stone cottage, which inside is very well equipped with all modern amenities, suitable for either summer or winter weather. And a delight to fetch fresh eggs each morning from the farm, and to see the hens roaming in open fields.
Hillfoot is a gem and we hope to visit again in any season!
