Caravan site was excellent, nice and sheltered, well kept. Considering dogs were allowed very clean and our dog loved the dog walk that was there specially for the dog walkers which was also very clean and well kept.

For a quiet, relaxing location from where you can venture out to various towns and villages this place is ideal. I would recommend getting any food etc at the start of the week from Whitehaven as the smaller local shops are a bit more expensive, but are friendly and serve their purpose for milk/bread etc. A trip on the Ravenglass steam railway is a must with a nice rural pub at the end of the line to have a bit of food just a few hundred metres away.
Mrs M, Bangor, Co Down

This was our first family holiday in a caravan and we had all our creature comforts. We stayed for 4 nights but we regret not staying longer. Cumbria is a beatiful part of the country!

The park was small, quiet but also convenient for what we wanted. Never too far from places within the Western coastal area of Cumbria. We managed to visit Whitehaven, Sea-Scale, Sellafield Visitors Centre and take a trip on the Ravenglass to Dalegarth railway as well as tour the local villages all within a weekend. The park was just right for what we were looking for - keep up the good work!
