About Beesands, Devon

Holiday lets in Beesands, Devon - Travel Guide to Beesands

Beesands is a beautiful, unspoilt, seaside village on the South Devon coast famous for its fishing, especially of crab and lobster. It is situated on Start Bay between Torcross and Hallsands and is not far from a number of other Devon resorts well worth visiting, including Kingsbridge.

'I remember visiting Beesands with my family back in the 1980s. We had a cottage with a garden that led to the beach itself. You literally just walked out of the garden gate onto your own private patch of beach. As kids we thought this was great! Of course any beach holiday is made by the weather and I can remember some beautiful 'blue-sky' days during our visit. Beesands is set in a great part of Devon with many places to visit within just a few miles. Kingsbridge and Salcombe are especially worth visiting. Sadly, our visit to Beesands was cut short as one of the family fell ill, but I've always wanted to pay a return visit. One day we will!
