With the shore and village pub, shops and restaurants only a stroll away, this peaceful cottage offers a great base for a relaxing break. A stream runs through its garden, which also boasts a games room and hot tub in a gazebo in the garden, whilst the village itself is a haven for sailing and water sports. Argyll’s craggy coastline of hidden beaches is a delight to explore. Visitors can enjoy fishing on-site (rainbow trout) or sample the local catch at nearby restaurants. Oban (24 miles) offers day trips to the islands of Mull, Kerrera and Coll, and sea safaris depart locally from the marina (pictured). Shops within walking distance, pub 200 yards.

Reviews
An excellent location for a truly relaxing getaway. Breathtaking scenery, a pub just across the road and a fantastic hot tub to soak away all those work stresses. Ticked all the boxes for us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, fully made up for our arrival and the addition of some freshly laid eggs, biscuits, milk and a basketful of logs for the wood-burning stove were a nice addition to the welcome we received from Kirsty and her family.

It was one of the most wonderful holidays we had. The owner of this cottage is a marvellous person and was a lovely host. She made us feel very comfortable and gave us full space of our own throughout the duration of the holidays. We reached at our cottage at night and were mesmerised by the blue lit hot tub bath space in the garden. This place also had a lovely games room with dart games, T.T. table which added to the fun. To get submerged in the warm water in the very well maintained hot tub with the beauty of the nature spreading all around is an experience which cannot be described in words. Last but not the least, the people in Ardfern are very warm hearted, welcoming and greet you with lovely smiles as you move around. I can surely say that the feeling I have taken back from a few days I spent in Ardfern, Scotland is so positive and powerful that I shall cherish it for whole of my life.
