Head out further along the stunning coastline and there are many quaint fishing villages to explore or the larger town of Falmouth with its yacht marinas and array of shops galleries museums and restaurants. Alternatively explore inland where days out can include visits to the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan Flambards Adventure Park Helford River The Eden Project and the cathedral city of Truro. Outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy numerous walking and cycling opportunities in the area or even a game of golf on the neighbouring course. Leisure facilities: on-site tennis court gym spa steam room and small plunge pool available for guests to use. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Additional WC on the ground floor. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan yet with TV/DVD and electric fire. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Outside: patio area to the rear of the property with garden furniture and BBQ and shared lawn area further to this. Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car and further visitor spaces available. Bed linen towels electric heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 small well-behaved dog welcome (please kindly ensure that kept on the ground floor). Regret no smoking inside the property. Additional info: there is a stream on site so please take care with children and pets. Location: beach pub and village shop all within walking distance.

The fishing port of Falmouth is a popular destination on the south coast of Cornwall. Falmouth's famous harbour is the third deepest harbour in the world. The docks were developed from 1858 and the nearby RNLI Lifeboat Station, still in operation today, from 1867. Whilst the docks are much smaller than they once were, Falmouth is still the largest port in Cornwall.
However Falmouth's main economic income comes from tourism. It has five main beaches (Castle, Tunnel, Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth), many guest houses, small hotels and holiday lets, and the famous Pendennis Castle to attract visitors.
Located at the end of the A39 and boasting three railway stations Falmouth enjoys good transport facilities and being located near to many of Cornwall's most popular locations it proves to be an ideal base for exploring this part of the South West.
