Description
Brentvale is situated on the peaceful rural Berridon estate, about a mile from the village of Bradworthy. The village has two grocery shops, a butcher, a pub which also offers food and adjacent cafe which serves full English breakfasts. The nearest supermarket is Waitrose in Holsworthy; there are others such as Asda, Morrisons & Sainsburys in Bideford & Bude Berridon is about eight miles from Clovelly on the North Devon coast. To the West are the Cornish beaches of Sandymouth and Widemouth with cliff top walks up to and around Hartland point. Inland there are a number of attractions to visit locally including RHS Rosemoor, Milky Way and the Alpaca Park. Being convenient to both A30 and A39 many places are easy to reach, including the Eden Project. The accommodation is conveniently all on one level with a large sitting/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, newly refurbished bathroom with large shower & separate bath. There is a double & a twin bedroom (a cot & high chair are available on request). A large south facing balcony makes an ideal place to relax in the peace & quiet of the countryside, away from the madding crowd. is a picture-perfect fishing village. Ilfracombe is a more traditional seaside resort, but is not overly-commercialised, while the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth have an atmosphere all their own. Don’t miss the wonderful water-powered funicular railway here.
South Devon
Justly famous as one of England’s finest destinations, South Devon has everything
