The market town of Skipton and its castle, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are only 7 miles away and the Boundary Mill shopping complex in Colne is 5 miles away. Golf, fishing and riding are available nearby

For somewhere quieter, take a trip to genteel Lytham St. Annes, to the old fishing town of Fleetwood or to Morecambe Bay, one of our most important bird sanctuaries. All are just a short drive away when you take one of our Lancashire cottage holidays.
On your doorstep are the cities of Liverpool and Manchester. Don’t miss a trip to Salford Quays, home of the Lowry museum. And the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool has one of the finest art collections in the North. The city of Lancaster is also well worth a visit, with its immense neo-gothic cathedral. For rural tranquillity, make tracks to the Forest of Bowland, which is very popular with walkers and cyclists.
