The popular seaside resort of Cromer 4 miles away famous for freshly caught seafood and end of pier entertainment has museums golf tennis and Zoo Park. The carnivals in Cromer and Sheringham in August provide great family entertainment. Sheringham offers steam train rides along the coast live theatre and a leisure pool/sports centre. National Trust properties to visit include Felbrigg Hall Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park which has stunning landscaped gardens. Sandy picturesque beaches are easily accessible all along the coast see the seals at Blakeney Point. Explore nature trails or hire a boat to enjoy the Norfolk Broads. The cathedral city of Norwich with museums castle and historic buildings is easily reached by road bus or train.
