Brighstone Village is a town in Isle Of Wight, England. It is situated near to Aspe Heath, Freshwater Bay, Horseshoe Bay, Isle Of Wight, Carisbrooke, and Newport and is one of 50 towns or villages in Isle Of Wight in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. Make sure you pay a visit to Osborne House, built as a holiday getaway for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, which is still very much as they left it. Carisbrooke Castle also has royal connections – it was used a prison for Charles 1 in the aftermath of the Civil War.
