Garn Fadryn is a town in Gwynedd, Wales. It is located within a few miles of Wern Y Wylan, Morfa Nefyn, Mynytho, Sarn Meyllteyrn, Nefyn, and Llanbedrog and is one of 86 towns or villages in Gwynedd in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest official cities are Bangor (population 15,280), Newport (population 116,143), and Swansea (which has a population of 169,880 according to the 2001 Census). Gwynedd takes its name from the old Kingdom of Gwynedd and is an area of north Wales which encompasses most of Snowdonia and the Lyyn Peninsula. Although one of the largest local government areas in the country it is also quite sparsely populated. A large number of welsh-speaking people live in the area, and it is home to the university city of Bangor as well as the famous 'royal' town of Caernarfon.
