Guide for holiday cottages and lets in this area

Kingsand is a village in south-east Cornwall, England (beside its twin village of Cawsand). It is located within a few miles of Millbrook, Torpoint, and St John and is one of over 250 towns and villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Plymouth (population 243,795), Truro (population 20,920), and Exeter (which has a population of 106,772 according to the 2001 Census).

The two villages are interesting in that until 1844 Kingsand was in Devon, and Cawsand was in Cornwall, but following boundary changes Kingsand joined Cawsand over the new Cornish border. There remains a house today called 'Devon Corn', which has a marker on the front, which indicates its location on the old border. Both villages retain their traditional character despite their popularity with tourists who are attracted by the three beaches, each divided by interesting rockpools.
